For the second year running, Helmdon Primary School have received a letter from the Secretary of State for Education congratulating them on their top level SATS results. In both 2017 and 2018, 100% percent of the Year 6 pupils reached or exceeded the expected standard in Maths, putting Helmdon Primary School in the top 1% of primary schools in England.

The all-weather running track on the field at Helmdon Primary School is now officially open. Children of Helmdon Primary School and Helmdon Acorns have been preparing for tomorrow's bonfire night and learning about how the 5th of November all started.

Work on the Mile a Day track to commence Monday 22nd Oct - the playground and playing field will be closed for two weeks.
Helmdon Primary School are excited to confirm that contractors will begin installation of their Mile a Day track on Monday 22nd October. It was the last day of the school year yesterday at Helmdon Primary School, with another cohort of Year 6 children leaving to go to "big school".
An emotional Leavers' Assembly took place on Thursday with all the children sharing thoughts of their time at Helmdon school. They were then presented with awards, a Year Book each and an '18 Leavers fleece.
