Further overnight closures on A43 northbound: 23rd - 28th May

The A43 northbound will be closed overnight again between the BP roundabout and Syresham, from Sunday 23rd May until Friday 28th May. The road will be closed from 8pm - 6am and diversions will be in place. The southbound lane closures will continue on this stretch of road. Brackley Medical Centre: new GP practice to open on 16th November 2020

Brackley Medical Centre have announced that its new custom-built GP practice will open in Wellington Road, Brackley on Monday 16 November 2020. Washington House Surgery and Brackley Health Centre will be closed for appointments from this date.

The new site will also be home to Lowick Pharmacy and the new Brackley Community Hospital.

Apology after Council Tax billing error

South Northamptonshire Council is today apologising to residents for a billing error in their Council Tax. Residents of South Northamptonshire will be receiving replacement Council Tax bills in the next week or so after the originals were issued with incorrect figures.

Welcome return of the Great Weston Run

The Great Weston Run returns on 6th May 2019 after last being run in 2014. It is run over 5 miles starting and finishing in Weston. The course is partly off road and on farm tracks which can be muddy. The course has inclines and hills.
