Many thanks for to all those who have donated to our excellent range of jigsaws. We have put a great new set out and introduced a numbering system to help us keep track. The Jigsaw Library is in the church, which is open every day and all Helmdon residents, their family and friends are welcome to borrow any jigsaw for a £1 donation for church funds.

We're already up to day 20 of the Helmdon Advent Windows project. Already we have some amazing windows lighting up our village and creating the Christmas spirit. Be sure to drive round and take a look at the windows or look at them all online here.

Helmdon Primary School nativity play will take place in the church at 2pm on Tuesday 11th December and Wednesday 12th December.
Helmdon villagers are invited to come and watch.

The Helmdon 200 Club is looking for new members. The club runs a monthly lottery and the proceeds support two of our village's historic buildings, St Mary Magdalene Parish Church and the Reading Room which are in constant need of funds for care and repair. The club is a properly constituted village lottery with a committee and rules for the organisation of the lottery.

The Helmdon Advent Windows Map is now complete! - Take a look at where this years' advent windows will be lighting up our village.

As part of the national commemoration of the end of First World War, a commemoration event will be held outside Helmdon church tomorrow night (Sunday 11th November 2018). The event will commence at 6:40 pm with a reading of the names of local people who gave their lives during the conflict, followed by a reading of Tribute to the Millions, a specially written commemoration poem.
