Helmdon Parish Council are pleased to announce that they will be running a FREE weekly bus from the village into Banbury town centre (via Greatworth) every Thursday morning.
There will be three pick-ups in Helmdon:
- 10:20am – Wappenham Road, at the top of Field Way
- 10:21am – Station Road, at the bottom of Church Street

At a meeting of South Northants Council (SNC) held on 31 August 2018, councillors voted in favour of abolishing their own council, along with the county council and all the other district and borough councils in the county.

Councillor Paul Wiltshire is the new district councillor on South Northamptonshire Council for the Astwell Ward, which covers the parishes of Helmdon, Syresham, Crowfield, Radstone and Whitfield.
