Crafts in the Church, St Mary Magadalene Helmdon, Saturday 26th October, 10am to 4pm
A day of Crafts in the Church with a variety of stall holders and many gifts to buy. Refreshments will be available and proceeds from the day will go to Rainbows Children's Hospice.

The results from the 2019 ACRE Northamptonshire Village Awards have been revealed and although Glapthorn won the prize for Best Small Village this year, Helmdon received a rare Highly Commended with the judges commenting:

Young people at a loose end can join free summer activity sessions provided by South Northants Council (SNC) from next week. Expanding on the success of previous Youth Activator Sessions, this summer it will reach more children than before by visiting six South Northants communities.

The Parish Council would like to install a second defibrillator in the village to ensure that all residents can access this life saving device if needed.
