We have received a report of a drone flying at low level and very close to properties in the village on Sunday evening (13th January).
If you know anyone who has a drone please could you make sure that they are aware that it is against the law to fly a drone within 50 meters of people and property and that they are also breaking privacy laws if they film people in private property without their consent.... Read More »

Helmdon Presents will be showing Coco (PG), the colourful Disney Pixar animation that follows aspiring musician Miguel, who defies his family's ban on music and enters the Land of the Dead to find his great-great-grandfather, a legendary singer.
Children's film events are £2 per child (free for adults) and include a drink & snack for children and tea/coffee for adults.

An informal walk round the village to view all the Advent windows, taking the opportunity to look at other Christmas decorations.

The bridge on the A422 near Farthinghoe is set to reopen at midnight tomorrow (Thursday, December 20) after five months of closure. Work began exactly one month ago to repair the bridge over Farthinghoe Stream after being found to be in a dangerous state in August.

Tickets for Friday evening of the Bridge Players performance, Cinderella have now all SOLD OUT. Tickets are still available for both Saturday performances and the Thursday evening. Please note however tickets are limited and will sell out quick.

The Helmdon Advent Windows Map is now complete! - Take a look at where this years' advent windows will be lighting up our village.
