Welcome return of the Great Weston Run

The Great Weston Run returns on 6th May 2019 after last being run in 2014. It is run over 5 miles starting and finishing in Weston. The course is partly off road and on farm tracks which can be muddy. The course has inclines and hills.

Children's Film in Helmdon Reading Room: Coco (PG), Sun 13th January, 2:30pm

Helmdon Presents will be showing Coco (PG), the colourful Disney Pixar animation that follows aspiring musician Miguel, who defies his family's ban on music and enters the Land of the Dead to find his great-great-grandfather, a legendary singer.

Children's film events are £2 per child (free for adults) and include a drink & snack for children and tea/coffee for adults.

An informal walk round the village to view all the Advent windows, taking the opportunity to look at other Christmas decorations.

Village Café & Post Office Xmas opening.

The Village Café will be closed on Tuesday 18th December due to Xmas Lunch Club.

The Post Office will be open as normal: 18th December; 20th December; 27th December; 3rd January.

The Village Café will also be closed on 25th December and 1st January. Café reopens as normal from 8th January 2019.

Village Café welcomes Jess Gooding from ACRE / The Wellbeing Service - Tues 23rd Oct (10-midday)

Jess Gooding from the Charity Northampton ACRE (Action with Communities in Rural England) will be visiting the café on Tuesday 23rd October between 10.00am and 12.00.
