Weston and Lois Weedon Drama group will be presenting murder at Priorswell Manor, by Simon Brett, at Lois Weedon Village Hall on Friday and Saturday, September 14th and 15th at 7.30p.m. This is a light-hearted whodunit with lots of twists as the story unravels.

Helmdon residents Winston and Cameron Tunley organised a working party last weekend to strim and cut back the path along the old railway line towards Astwell Castle.
The path is a favourite for dog walkers and is heavily used. It is not a right of way but responsible walkers are allowed to use by agreement with the landowner; it is known as a "permissive route".

At a meeting of South Northants Council (SNC) held on 31 August 2018, councillors voted in favour of abolishing their own council, along with the county council and all the other district and borough councils in the county.

The Helmdon Fellowship has been in existence for 60 years and members celebrated it in style on Friday 10th August. Parents and Tots is starting for the autumn term on Thursday September 6th from 10am until 12 o'clock in the Church.
