Parents and Tots is starting for the autumn term on Thursday September 6th from 10am until 12 o'clock in the Church.
We shall be in church from 9.30 setting up if it suits any body to come earlier straight from Acorns or school.

Champions! Helmdon Cricket Club move onward and upward.

Helmdon Cricket Club have achieved promotion for the second season in a row, and this time they are promoted as Champions of Division 2.

It's a fantastic achievement for Helmdon, who will now play against the likes of Kings Sutton and Greens Norton next year in Division 1.

Flower And Produce Show Beats The Drought

While some villages had to cancel their flower shows, Helmdon made an extra effort and managed to put on a show almost as large as last year's record breaker. With more than 250 entries in total, including 215 on display in the Reading Room on Bank Holiday Saturday, the show was a success and much enjoyed by all who came along.

Helmdon Hurler 2018 Results

Helmdon Hurler 2018 Results

Helmdon Runner Wins and Sets Record Time.

The 9th Helmdon Hurler was run on Monday 27 August 2018 starting for the first time from Manor Farm, near the church. A record 152 runners took part. The record was broken by Helmdon's own Fergus Scott in an incredible 23:48, beating the previous record of 23:53 that had stood since 2015.

The bridge over the Farthinghoe Stream, just to the west of the village of Farthinghoe, has been inspected as part of our routine programme and is considered unsafe for all motorised vehicles.
