Messy Church
Messy Church - An Introduction
Messy Church is held at 3.30 pm - 5.30 pm, in St Mary Magdalene Church, usually on the second Sunday of each month.
It is a service with a difference. The church is set up with about seven craft activities connected by a particular theme. All the materials and instructions for each activity are on the tables and parents and children move around and have a go at them all. Then they all go to a quiet place for a story/discussion/prayer and maybe a song. During this time helpers and some parents try and clear up the mess especially glitter!
Then we all share a buffet tea, have a drink and a good time is had by all.
