The date of the HELMDON FESTIVAL changed (was 3d July) due to extension of the Covid restrictions. Some of what was planned could have gone ahead but key parts of the plans would not have been possible. The new date is August Bank Holiday Monday 30 August.

For those requiring internet or mobile phone services while enjoying their refreshments, super-fast broadband internet is available and free (WiFi service provided by Tove Valley Broadband). FLOWER AND PRODUCE SHOW, 2:30-4:00pm

Helmdon's Flower and Produce Show encourages people of all ages to grow and display fruits, vegetables and flowers and to demonstrate their skill in making preserves or baking bread and cakes.
It culminates in the annual show in the Reading Room, which is always well attended and raises money for local charities.

All welcome to hear this fascinating speaker who has worked in Bomb Disposal in the Army in Belfast since 1982, then in the Counter Terrorist unit of the Metropolitan Police since 1994.
